| Bloodshot Wins EWPL Title As the frontrunner most of the season, it came as no surprise that Bloodshot worked themselves into the title game. The teams opened the weekend with two fairly easy victories, as they beat Rockville 16-10 and Greater Philadelphia Navy 12-4. The undefeated bracket play led them to a face-off with Greater Philadelphia Orange. Greater Philly found their way to the finals through a much more difficult path, tying Kingfish Veterans 8-8 and beating Kingfish Premiere 12-7. The championship game was closely contested for most of the time until the third period, when Bloodshot widened their lead with a 5-2 scoring advantage in the second half. The victory gives Bloodshot their first EWPL Championship. |
