HAWAII-IOLANI DOWNS NAVY-ANNAPOLIS 15-4

CORONADO, Calif. – Connor Grune buried five goals as Hawaii-Iolani defeated Navy-Annapolis 15-4 in the men's 18-and-under boys' division at the National State Challenge.

Hawaii opend up an 8-0 lead with 2:56 left in the second period and never looked back as the islanders outscored Navy 7-3 in the second half for the 13-goal victory.

Overall, Hawaii received all their offense from five players as Tom Hartwell (2), David Lim (3), Chris Nichols (3) and Michael Chen (2) aided Grune in picking up the win.

For Navy, Max Starsenic led the way with a pair of second half goals.
