CORONADO, Calif. -- Tucker Creevy fired home six goals to power Navy-AC to a 13-1 victory over Coronado in the boys’ 18-and-under bracket at the 2010 National State Challenge.

The game was never in doubt as Navy opened a 4-0 lead in the first period, before pushing the lead to 8-0 by halftime. Trailing 9-0 with 2:58 left in the third period, Coronado found the back of the cage on a man-up chance by Joe Kusters to pull to within eight goals.

However, Navy tacked on pairs of goals during the remaining time in the third and fourth periods for the 12-goal victory.

Overall, Kevin Schofield and Sam Butler contributed pairs of goals to join Creevy as the only Navy players to tally more than a solo marker in the contest.
