Entering its 23nd season, the league offers competition for teams throughout the Northeast. Competitive Format This season the league will feature both an "A" and a "B" division to help maintain equitable competition for all participants. The "B" Division will be open to high school age players. Senior Teams will play regular season games during two weekends, with a third for the championship. Teams entering must commit to all three weekends in order to participate. Competition for women will be offered in single tournament invitational events rather than league play. Rules Player Eligibility The league follows the NCAA rules book, available online. However, teams will be limited to one timeout per half. Copies may be purchased from the NCAA or the AWP office, although every registered club will receive a free copy. Players removed from the game for misconduct by the official must sit out their next game. Players committing brutalities sit out two games.

Payment Deadline June 15th Payment dates are determined by postmark. All fees should be paid in US funds. Teams failing to pay their deposit by the due date may not be scheduled. Insurance All participants and clubs must be registered with American Water Polo. NOTE: Individuals must bring proof of membership or be prepared to sign up at the site. It is the coach's responsibility to see that everyone is properly registered and all membership information will be verified by the office. No Exceptions!
