General Information

The Main Line Water Polo League is a great way to get involved with the sport of water polo. We offer divisions for all ages and abilities

Location
All competition will take place at either Villanova University or the Haverford School. Directions to these locations can be found by clicking on the name of the location.

Game Times
Competition will normally take place between 12:00 Noon and 8:00 PM (game times subject to change dependent upon number of teams entered)

Once the registration deadlines pass, we will issue schedules to all participants, as well as post the master schedule on the web site.

Roster Size: Unlimited

Rules: NCAA, 18 minute halves running time

Number of Games: Two games per afternoon

Registration Deadline
Senior and 12 & Under must register by January 10^th
All others need to register before March 1st

Youth/Dev $225.00

Senior
Open to anyone, generally including athletes college age and older

High School Boys
Open to high school boys

High School Girls

15 & Under Girls
Open to girls 15 years of age or younger

15 & Under Boys
Open to boys 15 years of age or younger

15 & Under Coed Novice
Open to boys and girls 15 years of age or younger just beginning in the sport. This division is geared towards teams just starting out in the sport.

12 & Under Coed
Open to boys and girls ages 12 and younger

Dates of competition for each age group can be found by clicking here for the master calendar.

12 &Under Novice Coed
Open to boys and girls 12 years of age or younger just beginning in the sport. This division is geared towards teams just starting out in the sport.

The Novice Development Division will use modified rules to encourage player participation and enjoyment. These modifications include:

• Five players and a goalie/team in the pool at a time.
• Players may use two hands to catch, one to throw
• Goals and ball are smaller, course is approximately 22 yards long.

Remember...

All athletes and clubs must be members of American Water Polo. Those failing to provide proof of membership will not be able to participate unless they register that night. American Water Polo membership forms will be available on site.
